David Colovic has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide. David has extensive experience in insolvency law, with specific experience in formal administrations. He acts for a range of insolvency accountants and for major financiers in the banking and non-banking sectors. David specialises in banking and finance dispute litigation, corporate recovery litigation and insolvency advice with an emphasis on voluntary administrations, liquidations, receiverships, bankruptcies and recovery strategy. He has considerable experience in the enforcement of securities and manages a team which conducts high volume retail security enforcement work for a number of financiers. David has recently conducted significant high profile preference recovery and insolvent trading actions and has acted in a diverse range of litigious matters. David is a member of the Insolvency and Reconstruction Law Committee of the Law Council of Australia, a full member of the Insolvency Practitioners' Association of Australia and has lectured on Insolvency Law at University level. He is a member of the Council of Governors of St Peter's College and a FFSA Tribunal member. |
