David Colovic has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide. David has extensive experience in insolvency law and acts for a range of insolvency accountants and major financiers in the banking and non-banking sectors. He has acted in many of South Australia's most notable and high profile insolvencies. David specialises in banking and finance dispute litigation, corporate recovery litigation, insolvency advice and recovery strategy. He has considerable experience in the enforcement of securities and heads a team that conducts high volume retail security enforcement and recovery work for a number of institutions. David is well known for his unflinching determination to obtain the best possible outcomes for clients involved in disputes and has acted in a diverse range of commercial litigation matters in the Supreme, Federal and High Courts. David is a member of the Insolvency and Reconstruction Law Committee of the Law Council of Australia, a full member of the Insolvency Practitioners' Association of Australia and has lectured on Insolvency Law at University level. He is a member of the Council of Governors of St Peter's College and a FFSA Tribunal member. |
