Nick commenced working at Kelly & Co. in 2001 following completion of a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Adelaide. Nick also has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment (majoring in the Corporate Finance stream). Nick advises clients across the full spectrum of corporate actions, concentrating on financial services, energy & resources and engineering industries. His corporate expertise includes mergers & acquisitions, portfolio sale transactions and equity finance. Nick regularly advises on emerging issues under Australian financial services law, including AFSL and credit law matters. Nick’s expertise also includes advising entities in the Not-For-Profits sector regarding regulatory and governance issues. With a strong technical background in engineering, Nick has complemented and enhanced his ability to provide efficient and professional legal services, being particularly valued by clients in the mining and defence sectors. Nick has published and presented papers on corporate and resource law matters, including at AMPLA's Annual Conference. Nick is a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, AMPLA – the Resources and Energy Law Association (Vice-President, SA Branch) and is a former President of the Australian Greek University Association. |
