Martin practises in the areas of banking & finance and major projects. He has experience acting for banks, sponsors and borrowers on project finance, property finance and general corporate finance transactions and high profile energy and infrastructure projects. Martin lectures in Banking & Finance Law and Property, Equity and Trusts at Flinders University. He is also regularly published in legal journals and is an author for Lexis Nexis in the areas of trusts and business acquisitions. Martin has been recognised in Chambers Asia-Pacific (2012) as “an excellent communicator [who is] able to distil complex issues into clear, simple advice” and in the IFLR 1000 (2011) as “highly professional, diligent and practical”. Martin joined Kelly & Co. in June 2012 from Johnson Winter & Slattery. Prior to that, Martin worked with Linklaters in London in their Global Projects team and before that with Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Melbourne as part of their Banking & Finance team. Martin has a Masters of Law (First Class Honours) from Cambridge University as well as a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and Bachelor of International Studies from Flinders University. |
