Jamie Restas is the Chairman of Partners of Kelly & Co. Jamie Restas joined Kelly & Co. as a Partner in 2004 following several years as a national partner with a major law firm and a senior lawyer with Sydney law firm, Atanaskovic Hartnell. Jamie has a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide. Jamie has over 15 years experience in advising major listed and private corporations in connection with all aspects of corporate and commercial activities and is one of South Australia's leading corporate lawyers. Jamie's expertise includes mergers and acquisitions (public company takeovers, private treaty acquisitions and joint venture investments), capital raisings (initial public offerings, rights issues, placements, share purchase plans, employee share plans and underwriting) and private equity / venture capital. In addition, Jamie regularly provides Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rule advice including in relation to related party transactions, directors' duties, share capital reconstructions and buy-backs and continuous disclosure. Jamie is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Business Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
